Use cold water, mild detergent, and a delicate or hand-wash cycle. It’s best to wash quilts by themselves in case the fabric dye runs.
How to Dry A Handmade Quilt
To avoid shrinkage, tumble-dry your quilt on low heat, taking it out of the dryer while it’s still damp. Let it finish air-drying.
